Who will my host be?
Your group will be hosted by an experienced and passionate Wild Hearted Adventures host. Each host is a passionate adventurer who is dedicated to fostering a welcoming group dynamic, sharing inspiring insights, and ensuring your journey is safe, enriching, and unforgettable.
Whether you’re hiking rugged trails, exploring hidden gems, or enjoying moments of reflection in nature, your host is there to inspire, guide, and make your adventure truly extraordinary.
Will I be able to get to know who is on my trip before I go?
A few months before the trip, we will set up a Whatsapp group to discuss logistics and get to know one another.
Who can join your trips?
At Wild Hearted Adventures, we offer unforgettable trips designed for two main audiences: women and families. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer or new to adventure, our journeys are open to all who seek excitement and connection.
Women’s Trips:
Whether you’re traveling solo or with a group of friends, Wild Hearted Adventures invites you to join us with open arms for a journey filled with camaraderie, discovery, and unforgettable memories.
Our women’s adventures typically attract travellers aged 40–70, but we’ve also welcomed enthusiastic participants in their 20s and 30s who loved the experiences too!
Family Trips:
We strive to create experiences that cater to your family’s unique needs, ensuring a fun and enriching adventure for everyone. Some of our family adventures have minimum age requirements, but we’re happy to discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
What is the age range of the participants?
Our trips are designed for travellers of all ages but generally attract ladies between 40 & 70. We aim to create a diverse group of like-minded adventurers.
Do I need to book with a friend, or can I join solo?
No need to book with a friend! Many of our participants join solo. It’s a great way to meet new people and form lasting friendships.
Are the trips suitable for beginners or first-time travellers?
Absolutely! Our adventures are thoughtfully designed to be beginner-friendly, offering plenty of support and guidance every step of the way. They’re a fantastic way to explore and connect with others, even if it’s your first time traveling.
To make your experience seamless, we provide an app with all your travel details and set up a WhatsApp group for each trip. This helps everyone get to know each other and stay connected as the adventure draws near.
How big are the groups on each trip?
Our groups are small and intimate, typically ranging from 8-14 but this sometimes can vary depending on the number of people who book.
Are children allowed on trips?
Most of our trips are designed for adults. However, we do offer some fabulous family-friendly adventures.
Costs and Inclusions
What’s included in the cost of the trip?
Our trip costs typically include:
- Accommodation
- Most meals (specified in the itinerary & depends on the trip)
- Guided activities and tours
- Transportation during the trip
- Expert support from your trip host
What’s not included in the cost?
Items not included:
- International flights
- Travel insurance
- Personal expenses (e.g., souvenirs, extra meals)
- Visa fees (if applicable)
- Tips for guides or staff
Is tipping included, and if not, how much should I budget?
Tipping is not included. This differs depending on the trip. As a guide, we suggest budgeting £10–£20 per day
Booking and Payment
How far in advance should I book a trip?
We recommend booking as early as possible, ideally 12-9 months in advance, to secure your spot. We do offer payment plans so the earlier you book the more you can spread the cost out!
How do I book a trip?
Booking is simple! Visit our website, choose your desired trip, and click on the booking link. Then follow the steps to secure your spot. If you have any problems, please feel free to email me on info@wildheartedadventures.com
What payment options do you offer?
We accept payments via direct debit or credit/debit card. We also accept payments in different currencies.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We offer monthly payment plans to make your adventure more accessible. Contact us for details.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Please refer to our cancellation policy on the website for specific details. Deposits are non-refundable.
Can I add extra nights before the trip?
Yes! You can book extra days in our preferred hotel on most of our trips when booking.
When will a trip be confirmed?
Trips are confirmed once we reach the minimum number of participants. This could be up to 3 months prior. We will notify you as soon as it’s official. Please do not book your flights until the trip has met minimum numbers and you have received an email telling you to do this.
How do I know when to book flights?
Only book flights once we’ve emailed you and confirmed your trip. We’ll notify you directly as soon as possible.
Trip Changes and Cancellations
What happens if a trip is cancelled or rescheduled by Wild Hearted?
If we cancel or reschedule a trip, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another trip.
I want to cancel my booking, how can I do this?
Email us at info@wildheartedadventures.com to initiate the cancellation process.
I want to cancel my booking, can I get a full refund?
Deposits are non-refundable. This covers administrative and pre-trip deposits and costs from suppliers. Please review our cancellation policy for details.
I can no longer go on my trip due to ill health, can I get a refund?
We advise that travel insurance is taken out immediately after booking. Travel insurance often covers such situations.
What happens if the trip does not meet minimum numbers?
If the trip does not meet minimum numbers, then it will not be confirmed and will not run. At this point any money you have paid will be refunded to you. You are also able to transfer these funds to an alternative trip.
Dietary and Accommodation Details
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Yes, we accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. Please notify us in advance and ensure you make note of it on the booking form.
What type of accommodations do you offer?
Our accommodations vary by trip but generally include hotels, guesthouses, or lodges, or on some of our hiking challenges, tents are used along the route.
Will I be sharing a room?
Yes, rooms are typically shared with a same-gender participant unless a single room is requested.
Can I have a room on my own?
Single rooms are available on most of our trips for an additional fee. Please enquire during booking.
Preparation – Packing, Visas and Vaccinations
What should I pack?
We provide a detailed packing list tailored to your specific trip.
What type of luggage do you recommend I take?
We recommend a durable holdall or soft suitcase and a small daypack for daily excursions.
Is travel insurance required, and do you offer it?
Yes, travel insurance is mandatory and it your responsibility to do your research and take this out. We recommend that you do this as soon as you book.
Do I need a visa for this trip?
Visa requirements vary by destination. We’ll provide detailed guidance once you book.
Obtaining a visa, if necessary, is the responsibility of each guest to arrange independently.
What vaccines do I need?
Recommended vaccinations depend on the destination. As everyone has different medical needs, please check with your doctor or local travel clinic. We are not trained to give medical advice.

Transportation and Logistics
Do you provide transportation to and from the airport?
Yes, airport transfers are included on the first and last day of the advertised trip or available as an add-on if arriving outside the trip dates. Details will be in your trip itinerary.
What languages are spoken on the trips?
Trips are conducted in English, and local guides may also speak regional languages.
Can I make special requests (e.g., celebrating a birthday)?
Of course! Let us know your special request, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
